Margarito Garcia Obituary

BEEVILLE – Margarito A. Garcia, 79, passed away on March 12, 2024. He was born on February 22, 1945, in Beeville, Texas to Roman and Paula (Aguilar) Garcia. He graduated from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville and studied Biology at the University of Texas in Austin. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and had retired from Western Geophysical.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Paula Garcia; brother, Oliveo Garcia; one sister, Petra Posada and three cousins, Domingo Garcia, Pedro Garcia, and Ofelia Gutierrez.

    He is survived by one nephew, Charlie (Fatima) Garcia and grandnephews, Alejandro, and Fernando; niece, Monica (Kenneth) Delagarza and grandnephews, Kaden, and Kyler; cousins, Santos (Yolanda) Garcia and Leandra Cantu; nephews, Eddie, and Ernest Garza; nieces, Duby and Diana Gutierrez and one brother, Pablo Garcia.

     You may be gone but your memory will live on forever. You touched our lives with your kindness and generosity. Words can’t express how much we will miss you. You were always there for us. We had a bond that was like no other, and we are so grateful to have you in our lives. Losing you has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. You were like a father/grandfather to us. Having you in our life was a true gift. We struggle each day to come to terms with you not being here.

     You were loved and we will continue to love you – the Garcia and Delagarza family.
