Jesus V. Arredondo III

Beeville – Jesus V. Arredondo III, 67, passed away on March 22, 2024.  He was born on February 23, 1957, in Beeville, Texas to Jesus T. and Carolina V. Arredondo.  He married Rose Marie “Arroz” Cano Arredondo on April 23, 1977, in Beeville, Texas.  He worked at the Bee County Road and Bridge Administration for 31 years.  He dedicated his life to God, work, being outdoors, family, and friends.  His favorite pass time was buying $100.00 lotto tickets. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jesus and Carolina Arredondo; three brothers, Benito, Pedro, and Jose Arredondo.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rose Marie Arredondo of Beeville, two children, Jay (Rita) Arredondo, Jessica (G.W.) Dieringer both of Beeville; four grandchildren, Jayse Ty Arredondo, Parker Jordan Garza, Jaykob Ry Arredondo and Tripp Wayne Dieringer; siblings include Inez Gomez, Dionico (Mary) Arredondo, Ysidro Arredondo of Refugio, Lee Michael Arredondo, Steve Jefferson of Refugio, Rosa (Joe) Guerra, Linda (Adolfo) Alvarado, Stella (Mike) Cano, and honorary family member Chavelo Rodas Guzman.

Special thanks to the work family of Bee County Road and Bridge Department and the entire Commissioners Court, the medical staff of MD Anderson, the loving support of DaVita Dialysis, and the beautiful kindness of the WellMed staff including Ramiro Benitez Jr, FNP and Thelma B. Guerrero, FNP.   

A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, March 26, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum reciting. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, March 27, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Cremation services will follow.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Gonzales, Rey Longoria, Manuel Gomez, Kenneth Mendoza, Manuel Hernandez, Jonathan Gutierrez, Bobby Gomez and Daniel Moron. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Arredondo Jr., Joe Ross Arredondo, Molly Guevara and Janie Ortiz.
